Distribuzione

Le cinque specie oggi note di questo genere sono state rinvenute in mwdwAfrica centrale e mweameridionale: precisamente due specie sono mweqendemiche del mwegSudafrica, una della mwewRepubblica Democratica del Congo, una del mwfaKenya e la quinta della mwfqTanzaniacite-ref-salticidae-1-0[1].

Tassonomia

Rimosso dalla sinonimia con il genere mwhaLeptorchestes mwhqmwhgThorell, 1870 a seguito di un lavoro degli aracnologi mwhwWesolowska e Szeremeta del 2001, mwiacontra un analogo studio di mwiqPrószynski del 1984cite-ref-salticidae-1-1[1].

A giugno 2011, si compone di cinque speciecite-ref-salticidae-1-2[1]:
